Last Friday, CNN ran a story about emails from February 2001 between then Penn St president Graham Spainer, AD Tim Curley & Senior VP Gary Schultz. The emails are the 3 men talking about how to deal with Jerry Sandusky. After learning what Mike McQueary told Joe Paterno. In the early emails it seems that the 3 men are going to report Sandusky. Then that changes. Curley sends Spainer & Schultz emails suggesting that they handle the McQueary report internally. Most disturbing part is that it seems that the cover up might have been Joe Paterno's idea. Curley instead suggests that they confront Sandusky tell him what they know, & force him to get professional help. Here is the story below.

With this new information, Penn St needs to suspend there Football program for at least one season maybe two. If they don't the NCAA should impose the college "death penalty", which is a ban on Penn St football. It is now clear that Penn State's President, AD, a VP & football coach knew about Sandusky & covered for him. Their inaction lead to more boys being abused. They did it to protect football. Football needs to go away for at least one year. If it comes back it should be under heavy sanctions, players on the current team should be allowed to transfer to other school & not have to sit out. If this was Paterno's idea any mention of him should be erased from Penn St. Penn St will is about to lose millions in lawsuits, but they need to look inside themselves & find out what went wrong.
