NBA Predictions 2011-12

Many of you will look at my predictions below & say this guy is a Grizzlies homer. You are wrong, I have been a Laker fan for over 20 years. And if you check previous posts that I have done, you will see that while I respect the Grizz players, I am both a major Laker & a major Kobe fan. Last year I didn't even pick the Grizz to make the playoffs. I did say that two of them should have been of the all-star team. I also picked the Grizz to beat the Spurs last year in the playoffs. But that show my ability to make predictions.
Here are my season predictions.

How I will decide my D1A football national championship

This blog choses to name it's own college football national championship. We decided why not. It not like it would be any less valid than the AP, Harris, or BCS titles. Last year, TCU was named as our first champions. TCU won't repeat. The BCS has once again fail so this is how we will decide.

If LSU beat Alabama,  LSU wins it.

If LSU lose & Oklahoma State wins, OSU wins it

If both LSU & OSU loses, winner of Rose Bowl wins it.

Yep thats it, I also considered Boise but no BCS means no chance at title.

Time to go ( In My Opinion )

Over the pass several weeks college sports have been dealing with scandals. Not the scandals that it is used to money & cheating, but Sexual abuse scandals. First it was the Penn State scandal which lead to the end of Joe Paterno's coaching career & now it is Syracuse University. At Penn State after it was discovered that JoePa was told that assist. coach Jerry Sandusky had abused boys & he only told his boss he was fired. It seemed that JoePa was part of a cover up.

Syracuse started differently accusers came forward & a investigation was reopen. There had been a earlier investigation into the claims of an accuser which found nothing. Then Coach Jim Boeheim not only defended his assist coach Bernie Fine he also attacked the accusers. When he did this I & many people were surprised. Gary Parrish of CBS said that Boeheim had tied his legacy to Fine. Since then at tape has surfaced in which Fine's wife is talking to one of the accusers & seems to be saying that she knew about the abuse. She also seems to admit to having a affair with the accuser . After the tape was released Fine was fired. Which should end Jim Boeheim time as coach of their basketball coach also. I know the Boeheim has said that he is sorry & backtracked from his earlier comments, but it is to late. It also now appears that the earlier investigation was not a good one & the police were pro Syracuse. To make matters worse there are claims of cover ups to protect basketball players & Mrs Fine might have been having sex with some on the players over time the Fine worked at Syracuse. Point is this scandal will get worse before it gets better. So it is Time for Boeheim to go.

Over Thankgiving week with no phone or internet.

All of this happened.
  1. NBA lockout ended
  2. Iron Bowl
  3. Orangemen basketball  ass. coach Fine was fired when a tape that ESPN had for YEARS was finally released.
  4. Larry Porter football coach of Memphis
  5. Daniel Byran cashed in Money in the Bank & had the decision reversed.
  6. Urban Meyer is new coach at OSU
  7. Watched a Power Rangers episode, it was the worse teamup episode ever. Disney needs to buy Power Rangers back if Saben is going to pull that stuff.
  8. Thundercats episode
  9. Turner Gill also fired
Sigh! Still a good Thanksgiving just wished I could tweet about it.

Most overrated victories in sports

4. The Milan miracle, Great story which inspired the movie Hoosiers. Which was highly inaccurate. Milan had been a in the state semifinals the year before.

3. US Women's soccer team wins World Cup. This was suppose to be the beginning of the rise of both men & women's soccer. While there was some increase in interest the women's pro league failed. Truth is people remember this because of Brandi Chastain.

2. Soviet Union beats US in 72 basketball gold medal game. The refs screwed up & none of them would sign the official scoring sheet. A official broken the rules & added time on the clock.

1. Miracle on Ice US beats Soviets in 1980 ice hockey. It was a fluke. US would remain bad until the pros started playing on the team. Older Americans act like this was some great win in the Cold War. IT WAS HOCKEY! The fact that this is consider as a major event shows how bad the 70s were for the US.

Happy Thanksgiving MWM

Punk wins again!!!

Coming next month the LAMMYS awards for worst in wrestling.

My message to the Buss family & Laker organization

Dear Dr. Buss:

I am a long time fan of your team and organization. I am writing to ask you to withdraw from the NBA. The reason I am asking you to do this is because of the latest NBA proposal from the owners to the players. This is a attempt to help small market teams while hurting large market teams. The rules that are designed to punish tax paying teams. As I am sure you know, you are usually a tax paying team. But it is not just the rules, its the concept behind them. The NBA small market owners want to level the playing field at your expense and that's not fair.

The Laker organization is older than the NBA. In fact it's arrival helped legitimize the NBA. George Mikan, a Laker star was the first NBA superstar. The Minneapolis Lakers were the league's first dynasty in the late 40s & early 50s. The organization then expanded the league's brand by moving LA. In the 60s the Lakers had a rivalry with the Boston Celtics which continues to this day. This rivalry was one of the main reasons why that the NBA became a major league. Laker excellence continues into the early 70s when the Lakers won there first title in LA. The Laker organization would then come back & dominate the 80s winning 5 titles & beating the Celtics 2 out of 3 time. The Lakers even won back to back titles in the 86-87 & 87-88 seasons. All while this happened the league grew & the many of the small market owners made money off what the Lakers did. Moving to the 00s and another Laker dynasty. The Lakers are 16 have NBA titles & 31 finals appearance, and yet the small marker owners whose teams only exist because what you & the other big market owners did, say that they want a level playing field. I say it is time for the Lakers & hopefully the other big market owners to leave. Why stay with in a league that bites the hand that fed them.

from  Memphissportfan & a long time Laker fan.

Dear NBA

  Dear NBA:

Here is your new business model. Three leagues, the NBA the A league, the CBA which would be the B league & the ABL the C league. You would also keep the NBDL or D league as a minor league.

Each league would have about 10-12 teams NBA would be for large market teams with no salary cap. The CBA would a have a soft cap. The ABL would have a hard cap. Each league would have a postseason. The player contracts would be different in each league. In the NBA they would be fully guaranteed. In the CBA only partly guaranteed. In the ABL they would not be at all. Players would have the freedom if they are not under contract to change leagues.

Or U COULD JUST CUT A SANE DEAL BUT I HAVE GIVEN UP ON THAT ALREADY!

How to end the NBA lockout, FIRE DAVID STERN!!

Talks have once again back down. More of the season will likely be canceled. I am not happy, and the person I blame for this is NBA Commissioner David Stern. I know that I am in the minority with that opinion but I don't care. Stern is the reason that the NBA is stuck in this stupid lockout. He has also mismanaged the NBA & should be let go. Here is a list of reasons.

  1. Back is 1998, Stern decided to end the labor peace between the owners & players. This lead to the 98 lockout in which owners crushed the stunned players & began the bad blood.
  2. The Rookie salary which limited what players could get on there first contract & lead to player coming to the NBA earlier so that they could to there second contract quicker.
  3. Throwing the players under the bus again & again. The NBA has images problems. Some people have negative opinions of the players. Stern instead of siding with & helping the good players decided to act as if the complaints were true. He then inserted rules to show those fans that he agreed with them. At the players expense.
  4. The Dress code & Zero tolerance with refs were part of this. Stern gain the powers to do those things at the last labor negotiations. It was want was traded for the 57% player share. yet everybody can't seem to remember that.
  5. Zero tolerance has empowered the refs. Which considering the fact that a lot of people think that the NBA is fix will backfire.
  6. NBA owners want the players to take less money in order to fix ownership problems. That won't work. (see NHL) These owners also get money for cities, shoe & clothing companies, along with TV network yet they are lost tons to money. That not a player problem that's a ownership problem. Two words: revenue sharing
  7. Finally, Stern has sided with the owners so much, he has lost his credibility with the players. He did interviews complaining the fact that the players were listening to their agents. How can Stern who was riped the player then turn around & expect them to listen to him.

Verno Radio

After years facing threats from the Memphis soccer community, Spain, Grizz owner Michael Heisley & the 560 locksmiths, Chris Vernon, host of the Chris Vernon Show on 730 Foxsports faces his greatest threat, Entercom. If you haven't been paying attention Entercom, owner of several radio stations including 929 FM & 680 AM ESPN has decided to change format of 790 from country music to sport talk. By doing this they are taking Foxsport programing away from 730. According to Chris Vernon, this a attempt by Entercom to force him & 730 out of business. To counter this next week, 730 will become Verno Radio & will run the Chris Vernon show 24/7.

I have been a fan of Chris Vernon for years. I hope that he is success & that he can survive this. I ask anyone who is reading this to listening to his show. It's on from 3:00 til 6:00 pm for today & will be play 24/7 starting next week. you can also hear it on there website which is still 730Foxsports. They also have a webcam.

This weeks MWM

The invasion storyline more proof that WWE got lazy when they bought out WCW & ECW. As besides Hulk Hogan, Sting, the Outsiders & Ric Flair not being involved. HHH also missed the storyline. Much like he wasn't around for the Nexus storyline. But at least HHH didn't whine about invasion like he whined about Nexus last Monday.

After the Big 12, (Metro Conference)

This idea started as a joke. I figured with all the conference changing I could do at least one funny post. Which is why there are so many teams. Then I saw reports that the ACC has pretty much torn apart the Big East. I have also heard the Texas & Texas Tech after talking about going to the ACC might just go to the Pac 12. Missouri also wants to go to the SEC with Texas AM so it looks like the BIG 12 is also done. So now this funny post is the most likely one to come true. Go figure!  Remember, you only need 6 school to form a league, 8 is normal, 12 to have a title game & 16 is a super conference. So not every school needs to join. But if they did it would be amazing!

The Metro Conference was a non football conference which combined with the Great Midwest to form Conference USA. This is the fourth & last idea so here we go.

West Metro Side

 Far West Division
  1. Boise St
  2. BYU
  3. New Mexico
  4. New Mexico St.
  5. Tulsa
 Texas Division
  1. SMU
  2. Rice
  3. TCU
  4. Baylor
  5. Houston
East Metro Side

 Midwest Division

  1. Memphis
  2. Kansas
  3. Tulane
  4. Kansas St.
  5. Iowa St.
 East Division
  1. Louisville
  2. Cincinnati
  3. Central Florida
  4. Temple
  5. UAB

Yes, a 20 team Metro Super Conference. It would be the biggest conference & hopefully BCS proof.

After the Big 12, (Great Midwest Conference)

The Great Midwest Conference was a non football which had many former Metro schools. The name could be used for a new all sports conference.

North Division
  1. Boise St.
  2. BYU
  3. Iowa St.
  4. Missouri
  5. Kansas
  6. Kansas St.
South Division
  1. Texas
  2. Texas Tech
  3. Memphis
  4. Baylor
  5. TCU
  6. SMU
I thought about trying East & West division, but again I didn't want to upset Baylor. One more post after this.

Saturday, September 17, 2011

After the Big 12, (Southwestern Conference)

The Big 12 was formed when the old BIG 8 added for Southwestern Conference (SWC) schools. If the BIG 12 ends bring back the SWC

Texas Division
  1. Texas
  2. Texas Tech
  3. Baylor
  4. SMU or Rice
  5. TCU
  6. Houston
Non Texas Division
  1. Tulane
  2. Tulsa
  3. Memphis
  4. New Mexico
  5. New Mexico State
  6. Arkansas St
I know that the whole Texas & non Texas divisions are dumb but it would make Baylor happy & we know how powerful they are. Also Rice & SMU could both join but then there would be 7 Texas schools. ASU is there just because.

After the Big 12, (Big 8)

There is news of even more conference movement, & it looks like the BIG 12 is done. After the BIG 12 ends there will be a lot of schools in need of a conference. So I in this post & in the next few will suggest replacement conferences for the disbanded BIG 12. First up the NEW BIG 8.

  1. Texas
  2. Texas Tech
  3. Missouri
  4. Baylor
  5. Kansas
  6. Kansas St.
  7. Memphis
  8. Iowa st.
Pretty cut & dry, if necessary you could take out a few schools & put in BYU, TCU or Boise.

Time for Change

Arkansas State University Red Wolves 47, University of Memphis Tigers 3.

Memphis Football has become this. This was the score of the football game last Saturday. For those of you who don't know I am not only a Tigers fan but also a student at the University of Memphis,(U of M). In fact the main reason I have wanted to go to U of M since I was a child was due to my fandom. I started out as most U of M fans & was a fan of the Men's Basketball team. I later became a football fan, & now root for all Tiger teams. Saturday was painful. I guess because it turns out that I care more about the blue & gray than I thought. I saying this to build to my main point. Something has to change in Memphis football. Memphis football is a joke & considering the fact that Memphis is in the south a place where football is king that can be very embarrassing. There have been a lot of finger pointing Commerical Appeal Sport writer Geoff Calkins has ask U of M AD, R.C. Johnson to resign. He says that U of M leadership does not seem to care about this situation. Many fans want Johnson fired. Other fans say Coach Larry Porter should be fired. Some people say both need to be fired. I have even read from Greg Akers of the Memphis Flyer says the football program should go down the the Football Championship Subdivision (D-1AA)  I have ideas about what should be done, but I will not write them right now. I will say that football is important.

Having a major football program could help raise the prestige of U of M & help them raise more money. To have a major football program Memphis needs to remain in the Football Bowl Subdivision (D-1A).U of M needs to also try harder to get into a BCS conference. Football has aways been number 2 at best at Memphis. That will always be true considering the fact that men's basketball should have at least one NCAA title. And is a major basketball player. That shouldn't mean that Memphis Football should be forgotten. Louisville & Cincinnati are also basketball first school but both found a way to build their football programs. Memphis need do decide that it wants to be good & do whatever it can within the rules to get good. Buy games, new stadium, paying more money. This is what big time programs do & Memphis must become big time. And finally a change in leadership. I won't say who should be let go because I am not sure. But any change would be better than this.

How to Fix WWE

How to fix the WWE Divas Women's Division.

A few weeks ago, I posted a Don't give WWE Divas a Chance post. In it I ripped the Divas divison & said that it should be disbanded. I say that WWE writers didn't care about. I still believe that this is true but I have decided to come up with some ideas of how to fix the Womens division.
  1. Change name of Divison. Divas has become kinda of old & the name was a 90's thing. Now it seems to remind us that many of it's members can't wrestle.
  2. Send certain less talented members to OVW or FCW for a few months, there they can learn to wrestle better.
  3. BRING BACK MELINA & GAIL KIM IF POSSIBLE. Their exits made the division worse & helped start the current round of negativity about it.
  4. Sigh a lot more female wrestlers. There are alot of them. Bring back former members, hire women TNA has let go.
  5. New belts. Not just a new women's title, time for tag belts.
  6. New writing staff for the women's division only, the WWE writers don't care about the division, don't let them write for the women anymore.
  7. Factions, worked for mens wrestling, will work for women's wrestling.
  8. NOW MORE CALLIN OF MATCHES BY JERRY LAWLER, I am a Lawler fan but he even gets on my nerves durning Divas matches.
If the WWE tries this the women's divison might be fine. If it isn't it will be because people chose not to watch it. Not because it is BAD.

Big 12..10... I mean 9 (In My Opinion)

It appears that unless there is a unforeseen problem, Texas A&M is going to leave the BIG 12 conference for the Southeastern Conference this week. This move will mean that the BIG 12 which has only 10 schools now will have only 9 schools. Jokes aside the BIG 12 is in trouble. Last year the BIG 12 almost ended when the BIG 10 which has 11 teams took Nebraska. And the PAC 10 took Colorado. It almost took Texas, Texas A&M, Texas Tech, Oklahoma, & Oklahoma State. This would have reduced the BIG 12's then membership of 12 to 5. A NCAA conference must have at least 6 members. Things were bad, Missouri tried to get into the BIG 10. Even after the PAC 10 only got Colorado, Texas A&M and Oklahoma were talking to the SEC. All looked lost, then a deal was made. Texas was given a larger share of BIG 12 profits, which included money from a new TV with Fox. They were allowed to form there own TV network, The Longhorn Network. The BIG 12 also agreed to not try to expand to 12 teams again. Under NCAA rules a conference must have 12 schools playing football to have a football championship game. This game made alot of money & not having one cost the BIG 12 money & cost the other schools money. Texas agreed to stay. Though there has been speculation about Texas going independent like BYU did.

Which leads us to now. A lot of the other schools were unhappy about the deal. Texas A&M is upset about the deal & is leaving. Texas A&M is trying to get into the SEC, and it looks like the SEC wants them. This deal would weakening the BIG 12 and might cost them some TV money, which is where most of the money used to appease Texas came from. It seems that the BIG 12 needs to find a new 10th member. Assuming that Texas lets them expand. And it is Texas' power & money that has driven Texas A&M to try and leave. So what should the BIG 12 do ?

The BIG 12 needs to expel Texas or at least give them an ultimatum. Texas is the problem. Texas first held the BIG 12 hostage by threatening to leave & take half the conference with it. It then repaid both the schools who would have went and the schools that would have stayed by demanding more money and costing them money. They took a larger share of money. The Longhorn Network gives Texas even more money. Texas blocked the formation of a BIG 12 network costing the other schools money. Texas opposing new members, Texas doesn't want to share with new members. And a title game has also cost, Texas doesn't want a title game, has cost the other schools money. Finally the other schools are now jealous of Texas' money & power. If the BIG 12 doesn't expel Texas, it should at least force Texas to make concessions & allow new members. I know that Texas has a lot of money and power, but it is better to kick them out than it is for them to leave and go independent when they are ready. If the BIG 12 doesn't anything it will die. There is of more conference realignment and there is no reason for the other members to be loyal to the BIG 12. Except for the huge buyout. But schools will get around that.

Besides expelling or force concessions from Texas, the BIG 12 needs to do a few other things. Here is a list.
  1. The BIG 12 needs to end it's relationship with ESPN. ESPN is the backer of the Longhorn Network & has a deal with the SEC. ESPN seem have a interest in A&M going to the SEC. It woulds make the SEC more valuable & weaken the BIG 12 value. The BIG 12 main TV deal is with Fox.
  2. Assuming Texas is gone decide if it is gone to try to expand. Once upon a time there was a BIG 8 conference before it merged with the old Southwestern conference and became the BIG 12.
  3. If they decide to expand go the at least 12 schools. Remember Title games mean more money.
  4. Form a TV network, but be smart. The Longhorn Network has almost no viewers and only a few TV systems are even showing it. Of course Texas has already received a lot of money but the BIG 12 doesn't want to end up as the Mountain West who has a network few people watch.
If the BIG 12 does these things I think that it will survive this round of conference turmoil. Here are links to  stories about Texas A&M to the SEC, and the Longhorn Network

This week's MWM Oz

Because CM Punk mentioned it & I have yet to post it, Oz. Proof that WCW has some bad gimmicks. This was also Kevin Nash's first match on TV.

The Chinese Basketball Association did what!! (In My Opinion)

As many of you know there is a lockout in the NBA. A lockout is happening because the Collective Bargaining Agreement(CBA) between the NBA & NBAPA has expired & they have yet to make a new one. The CBA is what decides how much money & power each sides has. I also spells out rules for NBA contracts. Because there is a lockout NBA contract are not in effect. This means players can sigh with different teams not in the NBA. However when the lockout ends the NBA contract will be in effect again. Many players have begun signing deals in Eurpean basketball leagues. There was talk of some players including Kobe Bryant signing in China. Which leads me to the article below.

http://aol.sportingnews.com/nba/story/2011-08-18/chinese-basketball-association-bans-out-clauses-in-contracts-with-nba-players

The Chinese Basketball Association which is government run has decided to ban opt out clauses. This means that NBA players who have contracts with years still on it are banned, because they would need a opt out clause for if & when the lockout ended. The reason they are doing this is because they want to focus on growing the Chinese game, and feel the the NBA stars would have hurt that. There are several reasons I disagree with this.

  1. NBA stars would help prestige. The CBA is not near as well known as the NBA or European league. This would increase known of it.
  2. Having NBA stars play against Chinese players would help Chinese players improve. The Chinese National team lost to Duke. Duke is good but they are still a college team.
  3. The CBA would make more money. nuff said.
  4. NBA players would remember the CBA kindness & who knows maybe when so are too old for NBA they will go be stars in China, instead of Europe.
  5. This rule seems to be & there is no proof of this, the CBA is helping the NBA. Or at the least the CBA is scared of upsetting the NBA.
  6. Finally, it looks like the CBA is trying to show its power. They might not want to do that. Yao Ming career ended early due to injury. Many people feel that one of the reasons that happened is because Chinese Basketball wanted Yao to play for the National team during the NBA off seasons. It might not be a good idea to look like control freaks. In My Opinion.

Wrestling Title Wins that didn't happen. But really did.

Owen Hart wins the WWF title (with help). The match was restarted & Owen never became a world champion.

The title was returned to Nick Bockwinkel & a rematch was ordered. Andy Kaufman & Jimmy Hart cost Lawler the rematch but of couse Lawler still wasn't champion. Lawler later won the title & after unifing it with the WCCW title was then stripped by the AWA for refusing to be just the AWA champion.
Note: the AWA also pulled this kinda stuff with Hulk Hogan which caused him to leave & go to the WWF.
HHH made referee reverse decision. Jercho later became first Unified WWF champion. He lost that title to HHH.

This week's MWM

This week's Memorable Wrestling Moment is Ready to Rumble. I would like this movie more if David Arquette had not become WCW champion.

MIAMI can't say I am shocked.

WOW I SHOULD HAVE BEEN A STAR FOOTBALL PLAYER & GONE TO MIAMI!

The link above is to a story by Yahoo Sports Reporter Charles Robinson. The story gives a list of current & former athletes & coaches who were named by convict Ponzi schemer & Miami booster Nevin Shapiro as either receiving illegal benefits or knowing about them. It is part of a large investigation done by Yahoo Sports into Miami. I can't do justice to it. You need to read it for yourself.

  But I can make jokes!!!

Official Sports Bucket list 21. Build time machine & find fountain of youth, go back in time become star athlete & GO TO MIAMI!!

Here is the next AD for Miami.

I also can't help but remember this. Guess there is going to be a sequel.

If there isn't a sequel to the U. There might be a sequel to this!

Anyway GOOD LUCK MIAMI!

The Official Memphis Sports Fan 'Sports' Bucket List.

This is a list of things in sports that I would like to see happen before I die. All of the things are stuff I can't control but I still hope will happen. Here it goes.

    1. Memphis Tigers basketball wins the NCAA tournment. Every Tiger fan wants this.
    2. Memphis Grizzlies win NBA title. This could happen soon if only the NBA lockout end.
    3. St. Rams winning another Super Bowl.
    4. Lakers passing the Celtics for most NBA titles.
    5. The founding of a Memphis based wrestling company with a Unified World Heavyweight champion. Hopefully called the USWA. I miss the USWA & current wrestling is still weak.
    6. True NCAA college football playoff.
    7. Yankees crushing the Red Sox again. Just to shut Red Sox fans up.
    8. A non BCS school winning the BCS title. Ruining the big conferences fun.
    9. Tiger Woods being awesome again. I want to see the Tiger haters have meltdowns.
    10. Memphis Redbirds win AAA title. They made it to the AAA Championship series once I just want them to win it.
    11. Memphis womens basketball becoming a major power. I want them to be view the way the men's team is currently viewed.
    12. Memphis football in a BCS game. I dream big, sue me.
    13. Either Mark Henry, MVP, Shelton Benjamin or R-Truth as a Major World Champion.
    14. USA men's soccer winning a World Cup.
    15. Memphis men's basketball with a winning record against Tennessee & Louisville. The fact that this still has not happens saddens me.
    16. Memphis women's team beating a Pat Summet coached UT team.
    17. Memphis football beating UT again. I just want to see UT fans cry again.
    18. Marc Gasol being considered the better Gasol brother. It already true but I want other people to admit it.
    19. AROD catching Bonds' home run record & setting it so high Pujols can't catch it. Go AROD GO!
    20. Memphis Tigers basketball having local TV games. Because the C-USA TV deal is stupid.
There is more but chances are most this won't happen.

This isn't on my list but it would still be cool if they were used once.

I Say DON'T #GIVEWWEDIVASACHANCE (IN MY OPINION)

I just read a petition called Give WWE Divas a chance. It said that WWE writers have disrespected the Divas division. This petition was started after Gail Kim & Melina, two of WWE's better women wrestlers were fired. I agree with what it says & almost signed it. The WWE writers have messed up the Divas division. 1 minute matches are stupid! However I still couldn't bring myself to sigh it. There are a couple of reasons why I didn't sign even though it is right.

Reason 1: With Melina & Gail gone, the Divas division except 4 Beth & Neidhart is terrible. The reason why we have 1 minute matches is because most of the division isn't that good. Before the 1 minute matches, watching a Divas match was painful because you either got 2 bad wrestlers or 1 good wrestler trying make the match look good. I can remember watching a match a few years ago & seeing Natalya Neidhart trying not to completely outclass her opponent. This match happened before they let Mickie James another good women's wrestler go. Over the year WWE has let it's good women's wrestlers go. This has weakened the division. Fact is the best female heel or villainess is Vickie Guerrero & she is a manager.

Reason 2: Is the fact that their even is a Divas division. Once upon a time there was the NWA Womens World Title. A belt with history. The women's champion The Fabulous Moolah who held the title off & on for about 30 years or 10,778. She bought the title to the then WWF where it remained until it was unified with the Divas title last year. The Divas title was invent in 2008, so that their would be a women belt on Smackdown. Back then Raw & Smackdown each had a belt for all the division. WWE deciding to replace the storied Women title which was held by Sensational Sherri, Lita, Chyna & other top women's wrestlers is a disgrace. Plus the Divas belt itself is ugly!

Reason 3: The Divas division aren't the only victims of the WWE writing staff. The Tag Team division is all but dead. every time a tag team starts to get good it is broken up. The writers don't seem to like Tag Teams so they are use to introduce new future single wrestlers (see Hart Dynasty, Crimetime, & Priceless) or give 2 wresters something to do if they have no ideas of what to do with them.(see Santino & Kozloz, Big Show & Kane) The Tag division needs help & if anything should be fixed first it should be the Tag division. It should also be noted that the US & Intercontinental belts have also seen better days.

Reason 4: The final reason is that the writers just don't care about it. TNA has the Knockout division which embarrass the WWE Divas division with it's ability. Many of WWE women wrestlers who left went to TNA. Gil Kim was the first TNA women's champion & Mickie James just lost the title to Winter another former WWE diva. The Knockout division is full of women who should be in the WWE fight for the WOMEN'S WORLD TITLE!!!! But they are not. Sad thing is I have heard & read that a lot of people in TNA don't like the Knockout division. But it's to popular to get rid of. In fact there is now a Knockout Tag Title.

So in closing the reason why I can't Give the Divas a chance is because the Divas division is weak, WWE doesn't care, TNA is better & the Tag Team division needs help more In My Opinion.

Dead Blog posts, Big 12 is in trouble. Suggestion time.

The Big 12 is dying, again. This time Texas and Oklahoma are leaving to go to the SEC.
