Memphis in the Big East

It looks like it finally has happened. Memphis joining the Big East. I was going to done a list about it but Geoff Calkins of the Memphis Commerical Appeal beat me to it. So I now have to actual write something meanful.

Congratulations University of Memphis Tigers, you are now in a BCS conference. With your old rival Louisville, at least until they join the Big 12. With, wait no West Virgina which coach by Bob Huggins is leaving. So is Syracuse, so Big East basketball while still awesome won't be what it used to be. That doesn't matter because this is about football & the BCS automatic qualifier (AQ) that the Big East has. Wait, the AQ is probably going away. Well we don't have to play schools like SMU & Central Florida anymore, wait both SMU & Central Florida along with Houston from CUSA. In fact they were pick before Memphis. Also Navy, Boise State & San Diego State, BYU turned the Big East down & TCU join & left before playing a game. Well at least the conference is stable. Wait just read what I wrote, Big East is not stable. Plus the ACC & the BIG 12 might not be done expanding. So congratulations Memphis, I guess.

Dead Blog posts, Big 12 is in trouble. Suggestion time.

The Big 12 is dying, again. This time Texas and Oklahoma are leaving to go to the SEC.
