Here we go again.

He is back

Today, Lebron James decided to return to the Cleveland Cavs after four seasons in Miami. The Cavs drafted James with the first pick in the 2003 NBA draft. James left the Cavs four years ago after making his announcement on ESPN. One of the reasons why James left was because the Cavs were unable to get good players to come to Cleveland. In Miami, James teamed with other NBA all-stars, Bosh and Wade. The Heat made it to the NBA finals in each of the past four years and won the NBA championship twice. Several members of the media viewed James' decision to go to Miami as abandoning Cleveland and have continued to ripped him. I am sure that those people are happy. As are the fans who burned his jersey and Dan Gilbert, Cavs owner, who wrote a letter that ripped James. All is now forgiven. How did the Cavs do over the last four seasons, four losing seasons and three number one picks. Yet James believes that he has a better chance to win in Cleveland now.

Personally, I think that James is making a mistake. The Cavs have never shown the ability to win championships. The letter Dan Gilbert wrote four years ago showed him to be a small man who blames others for his mistakes. This choice seems to me to an attempt to win back the support of the fans and media members that he lost when he left. However it is not my decision it is his, even if he very likely chose wrong.
