MWM Bad idea month part 3

The Brawl for all, which Jim Cornette calls, "the stupidest thing that the WWF (WWE) has ever done". It was a Tough man style 16 man tournament. Each match consisted of 3 one minute rounds, 5 pts were awarded for every landed punch & clean takedown while it was 10pts for every knockdown, there were ringside judges. These were real fights. The ways to win were by points, judges' decision, TKO & KO. It had a 8 count instead of the normal 10 count. It left several fighter with injuries &/or destroyed careers, more after the cut.

 Savio Vega suffered an arm injury that ended his career. Both Steve Blackman & Hawk were also injured. Dan Severn left after one fight. Steve Williams who was the favorite & inline for a WWF title shot vs Steve Austin was injuried, & knocked out. This hurt both his tough guy image & his friendship with Jim Ross. The winner Bart Gunn was not seen much to TV except for a short feud with Bob Holly, & THIS.

THEY FEED HIM TO BUTTERBEAN, this ended Bart's WWF run. All of this for a event that fans hated & had chants of boring & We want Wrestling.
