Truths of Fandom (Good Team)

I was sick this weekend & was not able to watch Game 1 of Clippers vs Grizzlies. From what I have heard & seen, it was a very 4th quarter, again. The starters played badly & Coach Lionel Hollins once again made questionable coaching & personal decisions. This has lead my Griz fans to worry about the future. This worry & general lack of knowledge of what to do has lead me to make a post about Truth of Fandom for fans of good teams, truths after the cut.

Truth of Fandom for Griz fans

  1. Loyalty should not be blind, fans have a right to complain if they think something is wrong.
  2. IT IS SPORTS, NOT LIFE & DEATH, NOTE: THERE ARE EXCEPTS WHEN FANS CAN GO NUTS.
    1. exception 1, if coaches, players of ref cost your team games.
    2. exception 2, if your team wins a title, Note exception DOES NOT cover rioting.
  3. Any player can be traded, if a player doesn't fit or refuses to be a team guy get rid of him.
  4. Any coach can be fired, if a coach can't get the best out of his team, replace him.
  5. Team are only as good as YOU FANS demand them to be, if fans put up with losing teams will loses, if fans demand winning their team will win.
  6. The GM should run the team, not the owner or the coach. The team must have one vision or else players gets drafted & the coach won't pay them.
  7. The time teams have to win championships are short, don't waste it by waiting for a coach to figure it out or learn not to coach by feel
  8. Winning is hard,  but continuing to win in nearly impossible.
  9. Finally, every team known for winning championships also has a fan base that is considered annoying, crazy, or having a way to high standard. (Remember that Griz fans the next time somebody tells you that getting rid of Coach Hollins would be crazy)
That is my list, please comment if you think any thing else should be on the list.
