Welcome Back Seattle.

It now seems clear that the Sacramento Kings are moving to Seattle. It is not known if they are becoming the Seattle Kings or the new Seattle Supersonics, but Seattle will be getting a new team. The Sonics moved to Oklahoma City in 2008, this is the 5th season since they moved. A lot has chanced since they have moved. This post will list several things that have changed since Seattle last had a NBA team.
  1. Lebron James no longer chokes, yeah I know shocking. Miami is the champion.
  2. Cleveland hates Lebron. And the Cavs are terrible.
  3. Lakers suck, I don't know how it happened but it happened. They have Steve Nash & Dwight Howard, yet they suck.
  4. Memphis Grizzlies, LA Clippers are good.
  5. Nets are back in New York City uh, I mean Brooklyn. They are trying to complete with the Knicks head up.
  6. New Orleans Pelicans
  7. The new team in Oklahoma City, was in the finals & have two great players. Durant & Westbrook
  8. Greg Oden was a bust.
  9. Stars named Kevin Love, Rajon Rondo, Derrick Rose have risen, Stars like Allen Iverson have retired.
  10. David Stern veto trades that he don't like.
  11. David Stern is also retiring, yeah thats awesome.
  12. The NBA Lockout happened and didn't fix anything.
  13. Phil Jackson is retired. Meaning other teams now have a chance
Welcome back Seattle and Good Luck!

7 REASONS WHY THE ROCK SHOULD BEAT CM PUNK!

A toy version of Rock's belt, still better than the spinner belt.
Last post, I gave 7 reasons why CM Punk should beat the Rock. In this post I will give 7 reasons, why the Rock should win.

  1. 434 Days is long enough, CM Punk in this one WWE title reign has held the title longer than these superstars in their total careers, Ric Flair (2 reigns, 118 days), Undertaker (4 reigns, 238 days), Kurt Angle (4 reigns, 297 days), Rock (7 reigns, 297 days) & Shawn Michaels (3 reigns, 396 days).
  2. Rock as a major can draw more attention & money to the WWE.
  3. This is going to annoy people, but CM Punk is the vanguard of the PG era, an era that many fans hate. Giving the belt back to an Attitude era star might be necessary to increase TV viewership.
  4. Last I checked, Punk is the bad guy, plus he needs help to hold it. The Shield keep bailing him out, at some point he has to lose. So just have him drop it to Rock.
  5. Rock vs Cena II, Rock (And the Attitude era) vs Cena (And the PG era). Gives Cena a chance to redeem himself & win one for his era.
  6. If Punk is this annoying, & entertaining now, imagine how annoying & entertaining he would be after a loss.
  7. Maybe they would finally get rid of the spinner belt.

7 REASONS WHY CMPUNK SHOULD BEAT THE ROCK

This years Royal Rumble is featuring the return of the Rock. Not only is the Rock returning, he is getting a WWE title shot. This will be the biggest match in CM Punk's career. CM Punk is in the middle of the longest WWE championship reign since the Hulk Hogan 4 year reign. It is currently at 420 days & will be 434 days on the night of the rumble. In this post I will give 7 reasons why it should continue to Wrestlemania when it would be 492 days.

  1. A 492 day reign would be an awesome thing. Back in the 70s & early 80s, 1000 day plus reigns were normal. Today a six month is consider great.
  2. It provides that WWE thinks of CM Punk as a headliner. People view John Cena as the WWE's top guy. And much resentment has set in about it. Fans feel like Cena has been forced down their throats. Punk beating the Rock, if that happens, SHOULD end that.
  3. Sorry, I am a BIG Rock fan, but he is not around enough to be Champ.
  4. CM Punk staying the champion would mean that he & Paul Heyman can keep trolling former champions.
  5. A CM Punk win would represent a passing of the touch from the more popular attitude era to the current PG era.
  6. Millions of fans would hate WWE if CM Punk lost.
  7. CM Punk winning could lead to CM Punk vs the Undertaker, Reign vs the Streak.
Those are 7 reasons why Punk should win, next is why the Rock should win.

Super Conferences lineup predictions.

Cooler than the Tardis, Deloren and Bill & Ted's phone booth put together.

Ever since conference realignment begin a few years ago there has been talk of super conferences. A super conference is a conference with several members like the old WAC did before the Mountain West split off. Except they would be the major conferences & would control major college football. All the other football conference would be left out. Well using the MSF prediction machine shown at the top, I have come up with the future look of the Football Bowl Subdivision conferences. Time to go to the future and back.

In my Opinion: Memphis Football

It is time for the University of Memphis to drop football from the Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) to the Football Championship Subdivision (FCS). I hate the idea of doing it but it is necessary. Memphis is a basketball city, & the university is a basketball school. Tiger fans have not focused on football & truth be told we don't care about it. We want to be in the Final Four, not a BCS game. Yes, football can make a lot more money than basketball, however it is basketball that makes the money at the U of M.
