Now I am Mad (may be just annoyed) NBA &NFL Lockouts, Who is really to blame.

It's July 1, 2011 which is the end of single lockout season & the beginning of  double lockout season. Yes, I am joking, but it still is true. At midnight, NBA owners lockout their players because the Collective Bargaining Agreement or CBA had expired. Thus another lockout begins. The 1998 NBA lockout cost us fan half the season. It is believed that this year could cost us the whole season. Combined with the fact that the NFL is also having a lockout it is a bad time to be a fan. But why does this keep happening? Everybody says that they don't care because it is Millionaires vs Billionaires. Most fans seems to in my opinion blame the players. They say that the players are greedy & overpaid. That should be happy with the millions they make & should be willing to take pay cuts. Others, including much of the media blame the owners saying that, they chose to pay the players that money. These people as point out the massive amount of money that the leagues make & question if the owners are losing as much as they say. When I was young around when the MLB strike happened I blamed the players. Later during the 98 NBA lockout & since, I blamed the owners. But now as I think about it, while I still mostly think that it is the owners fault. I BLAME THE FANS!!!

 Let me explain. Fans keep letting this happen. MLB had a strike & the fans didn't come back for a while. Now the MLB & MLBPA make sure not to have work stoppages. Fans also keep blaming the players for the lockout. Here the thing, IT IS THE OWNERS CHOICE IF THE IS A LOCKOUT. THE OWNERS VOTED FOR IT TO HAPPEN. If it was a strike they it would be the players fault. While the lockout are going players contracts are no longer in effect, however when the lockout ends the contract are valid. Some the owners can break their deal & not have to pay their players. If the player show up to work which most want to so that they will get paid, they are LOCKED OUT.

 The owners are doing this because they are losing money & feel that salaries are to high. It's been reported that the NBAPA has offered to return 100 million a salary over the next 5 years. The NBA owners reportedly want 700 million a year! The owner are also reportedly ready to sit out this year & possible til 2013! WHAT! They also feel the current system favors big market team & hurts completion

 While this is happening fans are either saying that they are both greedy or ripping the players for making to much. It is this that help empowers the owners to be so stubborn! That is since the MLB strike most pro sports labor stoppages end because the players cave. People talk about how the NFL, which has the weakest union is better because of it. YET THERE IS A LOCKOUT BECAUSE THE NFL OWNER WANT MORE MONEY EVEN THOUGH IT HAS BEEN SAID THAT THEY ARE STILL MAKING MONEY! THEY WANT MORE MONEY! In MLB there people used to complain about the big money teams having too much money & that small market needed more. So they began revenue sharing. The small market team took the money & instead of trying to get players KEPT IT!. Yet fan seem to act like it is the players fault or at least like it would be better if the owners won. Owners whose teams were probably built by tax players at very little expense to them. Owners who get Billions in TV deal, are either cheap, over or both at same time mean that they are dumb. Yet, the fans blame the players. Look I know that the players can make it hard to side with them but siding with the owners won't fix these problems.

In memory of Cm Punk who was suspend by WWE for telling the truth! The fact is Vince needs to step down or at the least hire new writers. But that won't happen so we will just have to watch good wrestlers get buried, like Punk, & Brian Danielson & Swagger & R-Truth, etc.

Also during this I was shocked to discover that the Memphis Grizzlies according to ESPN magazine, (if it has ESPN on it that means it can't be wrong) is the 9th best pro sport franchise. The list being

It's not just the ranking, Heisley made sure to get Zach Randoph, who nobody wanted instead of trying to get Carlos Boozer.
He lowballed Coach Hollins & you're draft picks who he keep in want now looks like steals.

Plus he left Vancouver a city which looked peaceful, for Memphis a city that seems to have a crime problem. I'm a Memphian so I know. But it look like Heisley knew better.

Finally the Grizzlies made it to the 2nd round.

3. The NHL had a game 7 Boston won (I didn't care)
4. Vancouver rioted
5. The NFL & the NFLPA talked (lockout is still on)
6. Mike Decourcy said not going to college is why7 Lebron choked
7. Terrelle Pryor said that he was sorry.
8. Green Bay got their rings.
9. Dallas said that they wanted rings
10. Yankees are in second place in the AL east.
11. WWE & TNA talked about their PPVs

So with those great acts of sport, I decided to watch Tenchi Muyo Season 3 on Youtube, Atop the 4th wall, Confused Matthew & Sfdebris instead of blogging.

I still miss the USWA

The USWA Unified World Heavyweight Championship belt.

This is how it was almost created.

Jerry "the King" Lawyer would later unified the belts in Chicago & it was then the USWA was born.

I am now rooting for the Heat

  As a Laker & Kobe fan, I don't like the Heat or Prince James. But after hearing for a year from whinning Cavs & other NBA fans I want them to win. Why so I can smile during the anti Heat fans twitter meltdown! Never have their been more whinnig & crying over NOTHING, Lebron left Cleveland, GET OVER IT. And anybody who thinks Lebron should have stayed with the Cavs should be force to play for them. Maybe then they will understand why Lebron left. Now the Jordan fans or Jordan sycophants as I call them, have started to whine.So I want the Heat to win just to make them mad.

TNA NONIMPACT WRESTLING

TNA is horrible. But instead of complaining I'm doing a list of what's wrong.

1. Got rid of the 6 sided ring.
2. Let Amesome Kong go because of Bubba the Love Sponge.
3. hired ex ECW & WWE guys who are past their prime or didn't have them.
4. Made Jeff Hardy Champion.
5. STUPID Kurt Angle vs Jeff & Karen (Kurt's ex wife) storyline
6. Destroyed Tag Team division by breaking up tag teams.
7. Not used X division right.
8. TV Title is unnessary.
9. Too much talking,
10. Stupid name, if you are about wrestling, YOU DON'T NEED A NAME CHANGE!
11. Who is Suicide, I mean both Angel & Kaz are on roster.
12. Fired Jay Lethal.
13. Didn't fire Jeff Hardy.
14. Change Impact set so that it now looks like WCW Thunder!
15. Ric Flair left the Horseman to join Hogan. WHY!!!!!!!!!!
16. Dixie Carter tweeted about Hogan & Bishoff 'after they took control' wrecking WCW, forget that SHE hired them to run TNA willingly!
17. Winter storyline makes no sense.
18. Don't use roster enought to the point that JWOW does more work in one night than most of the roster did that night.
19. Let Generation Me before the broke up (see .6) became Hardy Boys rip offs!
20. Why is Hogan & Bishoff even still employed?
21. Ugly Jeff Hardy design belt.
22. Jersey Shore rip off wrestler.

I'm going to stop but as you can see TNA is in alot of trouble.
